Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival celebrated its 11th Anniversary in 2008. Each season the two-week summer Chamber Music Festival features internationally renowned musicians, many of whom are drawn to return to perform with Core Ensemble members Aloysia Friedmann and Jon Kimura Parker. Ms. Friedmann and Mr. Parker also serve as Artistic Director and Artistic Advisor, respectively. OICMF exposes audiences and community members to a broad classical repertoire plus exploratory and world music, to musicians of extraordinary talent, and to compositions from a broad range or periods and styles. Throughout the year OICMF offers opportunities for substantive interaction between artists and community members.\r
